Mobile Medication Technician

SUMMARY
The Mobile Medication Technician is responsible for care of assigned clients under the direct supervision of the Mobile Medication Nursing Staff.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school education or equivalent; a minimum of one year experience serving seriously mentally ill adults; candidates with mental health recovery experience strongly preferred.
Vital Duties
Duties the employee performs that have a major impact on the delivery of services to our clientele:
Documentation of important information and data in a timely and professional manner as per clinical documentation policies.
Providing in home and/or follow up support to clients under the direction of the Mobile Medication Nursing Staff. Carrying out assigned interventions as identified in the comprehensive treatment plans for those served to address physical and behavioral health needs using recovery tools and principles.
Actively engaging clients and providing education about available recovery tools.
Conveying any physical health care needs of clients to the Mobile Medication Nursing Staff, including coordination appropriate referrals to primary care providers as directed.
Reviewing clients' progress in self administration of medication; consulting with the treatment team to develop transition plans to traditional services as clients complete treatment objectives.
Collaborating with and linking clients to other identified levels of care as transition from the program is designed by the treatment team.
Actively collaborating with staff to provide necessary client information.
Providing training to clients and staff regarding health and hygiene methods, infection control procedures, detection of signs and symptoms of illness.
Maintains KPI standards as set by the agency and measured in KPI standards program:
Completing a percentage of utilized authorizations Units against group average
Consumer Recovery Library Training Utilization
Therapeutic Alliance Engagement Use
Average of 22 hours of face to face time per week
Planning and Scheduling Effectiveness
Timeliness of Documentation (Progress Notes, ISP's, etc)
Documentation Quality (Assessments, Treatment Plans, Goals, and Progress Notes)
PROBATION EXPECTATIONS/COMPETENCIES
Must demonstrate during probation, first 90 days in position, and annually thereafter, competencies in the following areas:
Collaborating with Treatment Team
Completing Documentation
Providing In-home Client Support
Working with Insurance Verification
Working with MH clients


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
